he name of this site is somewhat misleading because the photographs featured on these pages are not necessarily my own. In our house I am the primary mover where photography is concerned. It has been an interest of mine for decades, that developed into a passion in recent years. I would like to think that Kathy (my lovely wife) picked up a photographic technique or two from me over time, but she is an excellent photographer in her own right. She has her own eye for a good shot. Therefore, photos featured here will be a combination of our work.

e tend to point our camera lenses where our day-to-day interests lie. We breed and show miniature longhaired dachshunds; we enjoy fishing and are both members of the California Inland Fisheries Foundation, Inc.; and we occasionally travel to a variety of vacation spots. Kathy and I will spend hours photographing gardens, sunsets and sunrises (the latter generally while on the water fishing), landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and just about anything else that falls in front of the camera lens.

 hope that you  enjoy looking at our photographs as much as we enjoyed taking them.
